Massachusetts
Coalition
for
Oral
Health
(MCOH)
is
an
organization
dedicated
to
improving
the
oral
health
of
the
residents
of
Massachusetts
through
the
use
of
effective,
community-based
oral
health
education
and
preventive
measures.

formed
the
Coalition,
located
at
465
Medford
Street
in
Boston,
Massachusetts
in
1999.

purpose
of
the
Massachusetts
Coalition
for
Oral
Health
is
to
promote
scientifically
based
community
preventive
measures
that
can
improve
the
oral
health
for
all
Massachusetts
residents.

the

in

oral

preventive

The
Massachusetts
Special
Legislative
Commission
on
Oral
Health
MCOH
members
participated
in
the
Massachusetts
Special
Legislative
Commission
on
Oral
Health.
In
its
February
2000
report,
The
Oral
Health
Crisis
in
Massachusetts,
the
Commission
recommended
increased
access
to
community
water
fluoridation
and
dental
sealants
as
a
way
to
improve
the
oral
health
of
the
residents
of
Massachusetts.
